Programs Committee

The Programs Committee is a group of dedicated liaisons who connect our industry leaders, experts and researchers to the SEAoNY membership at large and who organize events that uphold SEAoNY’s core values of advancing and promoting the art and science of structural engineering.

Our primary function is to provide educational and cultural events throughout the year. In addition, the committee also arranges visits to interesting sites and workshops for enhanced learning.

Annual Conference - The SEAoNY Annual Conference (previously known as the All Day Seminar) showcases new methods of design, challenging construction means & methods, and cutting edge innovations. Structural Engineering Excellence Awards (SEE) - The Structural Engineering Excellence Awards Program recognizes the innovative and complex projects completed by structural engineering firms located in the New York City area. The Programs Committee administers a rotating panel of distinguished judges for the awards program.  Please visit the SEE Awards page for more information.

Annual Meeting - The annual meeting is the first event of the new membership year, where SEAoNY welcomes the incoming Board of Directors, honors scholarship winners, and introduces the selected SEAoNY Honorary Member.
