SEAoNY Honorary Members
Honorary Members of SEAoNY are distinguished individuals who have made distinctive contributions to field of structural engineering. Each year the SEAoNY Board of Directors selects from among those practicing engineers who have made a difference in the success of structural engineering in New York. Whether it's for an innovative design or a lifetime of outstanding service, the Honorary Member award bestows prestige and well-deserved recognition upon it's recipient.
SEAoNY Structural Engineering Excellence (SEE) Awards
The SEAoNY Structural Engineering Excellence (SEE) Awards Program, formerly EiSE, recognizes the innovative and complex projects completed by structural engineering firms located in the New York City area. The SEAoNY SEE Awards Program is modeled after the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA) SEE Awards. Winners are announced during the Annual SEAoNY Boat Cruise.
Six awards are presented across the following categories:
- New Buildings - up to 9 finalists with up to 3 awards
- Forensic Analysis / Renovation / Retrofit / Rehabilitation of Structures - up to 3 finalists with 1 award
- Other Structures - up to 3 finalists with 1 award
- Engineer's Choice - 1 award
