Education Foundation

The SEAoNY Education Foundation* (managed by the Scholarship Committee and 9/11 Memorial Committee) is a 501(c) 3. It was established with the goal of encouraging young people to enter the structural engineering profession by supporting area college and university students studying structural engineering. Since then, we have been able to expand our goals thanks to industry generosity. We also award scholarships to graduating high school students from the Urban Assembly School for Design and Construction and support the Center for Architecture Foundation. In 2021 the Foundation expanded it's vision and goals to bring knowledge and education of the Structural Engineering industry to the general public. We hope to partner with museums and educational institutions to help put our industry, front of mind.
