SEAoNY's Young Member Group will host Part-2 of its annual PE Exam Application presentation to discuss the tips and tricks of approaching the computer-based exam. Young engineers who have experienced this process will host a lecture to help you solidify your confidence and answer questions you may have. Pre-registration is required for this event. You will receive an email with a link to join via zoom prior to the event.

Alexandra Teniuch has just over 5 and a half years of experience working in the industry. Her experience includes New Building Design and Existing Building Renovations in the NYC, Miami, and general tristate area. Her expertise extends to various building types including mixed-use, residential, commercial/industrial, and conversions. She is excited to announce that she passed the New York State P.E. Exam in May of 2024. She is familiar with both the previous format and full depth format as she took the exam twice to pass. She can provide some tips and tricks on the application and test-taking processes.
Josh Devaraj has over 3 years of experience in the design and detailing of bridges and other transportation structures. During graduate school, has specialized in finite element analysis and computational mechanics at Stony Brook. He has previously worked as a bridge designer at the Federal Highway Administration as well as a structural designer at VHB. Example projects include rehabilitation of national park/forest bridges, rehabilitation and design of MTA structures, and design of simple span pedestrian bridges. Josh has passed his P.E. exam in February 2025 and just submitted his NJ Board application.
