Join us for the second of a SEAoNY series on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging focusing on performative versus substantive practices towards meaningful change. Learn how to leverage inclusion and belonging in your recruitment and retention practices. Stay for facilitated dialogue with your colleagues where you can share ideas and insights!

There is a 20 person limit to attend this event in person. All other attendees will be instructed to intend virtually.

Shani Dellimore Barrax

Shani Dellimore Barrax (she/her/hers) is a strategic diversity, equity, and inclusion practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in organizational culture change and change leadership, training and development, strategic planning, and coalition building. She now serves as the principal of her consulting collective Aurora Change Agency, where she partners with organizations to create intentionally inclusive and humane cultures where those with minoritized identities experience psychological safety, belonging, and the freedom to innovate. Her consulting work includes capacity-building learning and development programs that provide opportunities for self-reflection, dialogue, and interpersonal perspective-taking. She partners with her clients to integrate equity, inclusion, access, and belonging into their organizational DNA through individual and organizational change agency.

Event, Cancellation & Photo Policies:

SEAoNY will accept refund requests made in writing no later than Friday, January 5, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Registration fees are not refundable after this date.

By registering for this SEAoNY event, I give consent for my photograph to be taken or presence recorded and possibly used on the organization’s intranet, internet, newsletters, board reports, and other organizational materials as needed. I understand that I am not eligible for compensation for use of my photo and I may not be informed in advance of the specific use of those images.
