GOLF OUTING

COVID-19

Last year’s reduced-capacity outing took into account all required COVID-19 restrictions and was attended by approximately 60 golfers. The Mahopac Golf Club has since built a new outdoor deck that can accommodate the entire outing for lunch and dinner outside. We intend to have a full golf outing this year (120 golfers) while complying with all CDC guidelines for large events.

Support a great cause while improving your handicap, getting some sun, and mingling with colleagues! Join us Monday, June 14th for a day on the links in support of the SEAoNY Education Foundation.

Proceeds from the golf outing provide scholarships for students who are chosen by that year's Honorary SEAoNY Member. In 2020, scholarships were

awarded to Luke Withy from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Tasnia Hossain from CUNY City Tech. 

The Education Foundation also provides scholarships to high school seniors from the Urban Assembly School for Design and Construction to support them as they go on to represent our industry and become leaders in promoting our profession. Last year’s scholarship winners were Gabriela Juarez, Kadijah Ayling, and Erik Cumbe.

The Education Foundation awarded 5 scholarships during 2020 instead of the usual 4. If you are unable to join but would like to make a donation to help the Education Foundation award scholarships please consider donating here.

Shotgun Start - 11:00 am

Cocktails & hors d’oeuvres - 4:00 pm

Dinner buffet, silent auction, awards, raffles - 5:00 pm
