The next decade is the make-it-or-break-it decade for addressing climate change: we need to halve carbon emissions by 2030 to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement. For years now, the industry has focused its climate efforts on operational-energy consumption but we need to address another important source of GHG emissions associated with buildings: embodied carbon. This webinar will include experts in materials steel, concrete, wood, and glass who will discuss the industry’s outlook in addressing these challenges and methodologies to reduce and measure embodied carbon.
