Amy Macdonald will share best practices from multiple natural disaster responses. During the webinar, we will learn from Amy’s experience as a second responder and discuss how we can have a positive impact on local communities during their toughest days.


  


Speaker Bio: 


Amy J. Macdonald oversees the Resilience practice at Thornton Tomasetti. Spanning four continents, Amy’s experience includes a wealth of reconnaissance and recovery work after natural hazard events. She has a diverse background in geotechnical engineering, hazard mitigation, disaster response and recovery. Amy continues to manage the development and design of high-profile flood mitigation and climate change adaptation strategies for healthcare, commercial and real estate clients. As a leader in the industry, Amy has spearheaded many multihazard risk assessments, resilience and hazard mitigation projects for both private sector clients and public entities.
