Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards
It's that time again! Entry for the 2020 SEAoNY Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards is now OPEN!
Deadline extended: Friday, June 26, 2020
The Awards will recognize the best of creative achievement and innovation in structural engineering by New York State firms in three categories:
1. New Buildings (up to 9 finalists, up to 3 awards)
2. Renovation / Retrofit / Rehabilitation of Structures/ Forensic Analysis(up to 3 finalists, 1 award)
3. Other Structures (up to 3 finalists, 1 award)
*Important Change to Submission requirement*
As opposed to the traditional foam-core poster board for display. Each finalist is required to provide SEAoNY with a 3 minutes max. video for use during the Virtual EiSE Awards Presentation Ceremony on August 27th, 2020 and potential public access via the SEAoNY Website.
Finalists will be notified by July 24th and Due Date for the video is August 24th
Accepted Video Format: .MOV or .MP4
Required Content: A brief background on the project and its noteworthy structural aspects. Please remember to provide credit for the images, information or material used in the video.
All awards, including Engineers' Choice, will be presented at the Virtual EiSE Awards Presentation Ceremony August.
