SEAoNY’s Young Members Group is gathering volunteers for ASCE Met Section’s National Engineers Week “Kid’s Day.” Please join us to give back to our community by volunteering your time to such a valuable cause.
National Engineers Week Kid's Day
This event will introduce kids to the field of engineering through a series of fun and educational games as a part of National Engineers Week. Children of all ages will have an opportunity to complete various hands-on activities including paper towers and gumdrop domes with the assistance of professional engineers and college students with engineering majors. During the event, there will also be a special screening of ASCE's new film, Dream Big.
Volunteers are needed to assist in running the table games. If you are interested, please contact Kristin Chu at kchu@hntb.com to sign up and copy seaonym@gmail.com.
Please see the event flyer on the Met Section website for more information.
SEAoNY’s Young Members Group will be coordinating other volunteer and outreach programs throughout the year. If you have ideas or would like to get involved, please email SEAoNYYM@gmail.com
