On an annual basis, the SEAoNY Board of Directors awards a lifetime Honorary Membership to one engineer, who is honored at our Annual Meeting in September.
This year, the Board is soliciting nominations for the Honorary Member from our membership.
SEAoNY bylaws define the criteria to be qualified as an Honorary Member candidate as follows:
- A person of acknowledged experience in a branch of engineering or the science related thereto, or:
- A person who has been active in the profession of Structural Engineering for 25 years or more and who, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, has contributed outstanding service to the profession of Structural Engineering and the Association.
