SEAoNY Seminar: 30 Hudson Yards

This presentation will discuss some of the structural design challenges of 30 Hudson Yards, the tallest building of the development.  Constructing a significant high rise building on a site with active rail tracks below led to unique solutions including massive built-up steel shapes, transfer systems, and the use of forged steel blocks to facilitate connections.
