A discussion on what it is like to make the switch from working on the structural Engineer of Record side of projects to working on the construction management or owner's rep side. We'll discuss things that these former structural engineers miss about working on the design side of the profession, things that they enjoy about working on the other side of the industry, and lessons learned/advice for students and young engineers looking to follow a similar path.
